If you are done choosing all your skiwear, gears and accessories then, let’s finally start the ski tour…. We will head toward the ski resort with the ski tour guide. The ski resort is only 5mins from the ski tour rental ship by foot. Don’t hesitate to take out your camera while you are walking and take pictures with your friends and family.

After arrival to the ski resort Korea, next step is to rent your skis or ski board. Before following your ski tour guide to rent the gears measure of each individual feet size. The gears are classified into 3 sections. 1st is the ski plate, which you will need while you are sliding all over the snow. 2nd it is the boots, which plays the part of connecting the plate to your feet. 3rd is the pole, it is used to support for balancing. Carrying all 3 of these gears are not very easy to move around due to it being heavy. But, while following your tour guide, if you stretch both of your arms out, your guide will put all the gears on your arms to help you balance them and carry them out to wear at the end so do not worry.
Store your personal shoes into the locker after put your boots on and then head towards the practice area while carrying your pole and plate. What is funny at that moment is, you would feel like a robot once you are moving forward step by step as you are walking. It would be very uncomfortable if it is your first time wearing the ski boots. The reason is because the boots are very tight on the feet and heavy. But you will adjust to the boots as if you could fly in them once you come to the end of your ski tour.

  Jisan Forest Ski Resort (Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do)

   Located in Icheon-si City, Gyeonggi-do, Jisan Forest Resort is only 40 minutes away from Gangnam to the south of Seoul, meaning that visitors can make a daytrip out to this beautiful ski resort. There are seven main ski slopes and 3 sub-slopes, all of which are open to both skiers and snowboarders. Thanks to the 5 high-speed lifts, there is no waiting in line, and there is even an escalator for children and beginners. The lifts are equipped with heated seats for a warm, comfortable ride. Even though this particular resort is on the smaller side, it is packed with convenient facilities at inexpensive prices.   Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley

  Located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, the Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley offers a sledding hill, 6 ski lifts, and 10 slopes for various skill levels. Night skiing is very popular at Yangji Pine Resort and the well-lit slopes give visitors a nighttime ski experience that is as safe as it is thrilling. The resort also offers a mogul ski course for experts and thrill seekers as well as ski and snowboard lessons.

  
  Yongpyong Ski Resort (Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do)

  Located at a range of altitudes between 700-1,500m above sea level in what is affectionately known as the "Alps of Korea," Yongpyong Resort can accommodate more skiers at a time than any other venue in the country and has built a strong international reputation having successfully hosted the World Cup Ski Championships, the Winter Asian Games, and other international ski competitions. Widely known as a filming location of the famous drama "Winter Sonata," the ski resort is especially popular among tourists from Japan and other Asian countries.   Located inside Deogyusan National Park in Muju, Jeollabuk-do, the Muju Deogyusan Resort has long been a popular ski destination for both Korean and international skiers. This gorgeous mountain ski resort not only has a large number of ski courses, but also has breathtaking views that allow skiers to take in the beauty of the snow-covered slopes while they ski. The resort is divided into two main sections, the Manseon Base with 12 slopes, and Seolcheon base with 10 slopes, which includes the Silk Road Slope. For a refreshing experience, try the outdoor hot springs after a day of skiing.

  Snow Slide(Option)

  Larva Sledding Hills in large and features one adult slope (length 100m, width 50m) and a children’s slope (length 45m, width 30m). The slopes here maintain a steepness of 17 degrees which adds to the speed of the sled. In all corners of the hill are igloos and fire pots, providing the users with scenery and memories of good times. There are 2 kinds of sleds: the tube sled and the plastic sled, enabling visitors to choose between the two. The gears are classified into 3 sections. 1st is the ski plate, which you will need while you are sliding all over the snow. 2nd it is the boots, which plays the part of connecting the plate to your feet. 3rd is the pole, it is used to support for balancing. Carrying all 3 of these gears are not very easy to move around due to it being heavy. But, while following your tour guide, if you stretch both of your arms out, your guide will put all the gears on your arms to help you balance them and carry them out to wear at the end so do not worry.
Store your personal shoes into the locker after put your boots on and then head towards the practice area while carrying your pole and plate. What is funny at that moment is, you would feel like a robot once you are moving forward step by step as you are walking. It would be very uncomfortable if it is your first time wearing the ski boots. The reason is because the boots are very tight on the feet and heavy. But you will adjust to the boots as if you could fly in them once you come to the end of your ski tour.

The reason for enforcing a 10min stretching time to be spent with your ski tour guide is safety of our customers is the most important thing in a Korea ski tour. So please follow the lead of your guide.
Now, we will go into the ski tour training.

In the basic ski tour instruction, you will learn
- How to take on / take off the boots with plate
- How to stand up and down on plates
- How to walk to the front/side/back
- How to fall down / stand up
- How to down the slope
Since it is inconvenience, it could be like a baby learning how to walk at the first time with but, at the end you will find feeling like your ski gears are one part of your body. After basic instruction in this ski tour, you can spend your free time.

Small and short slopes for kids were the place where we did. You can go up to the top of the slope and enjoy ski tour by coming down in the longer but smooth slope by purchasing a 57 dollars life ticket individually, if you are a fast learner. Otherwise you can just learn the posture and basic skill.

Return your ski gears and back to the rental shop where we changed our clothes after enjoying ski tour until afternoon. Before taking a bus to come back to Seoul to end the Korea ski tour, change your ski clothes to your original one at the rental shop. Let’s call it a day!

  Jisan Forest Ski Resort (Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do)

   Located in Icheon-si City, Gyeonggi-do, Jisan Forest Resort is only 40 minutes away from Gangnam to the south of Seoul, meaning that visitors can make a daytrip out to this beautiful ski resort. There are seven main ski slopes and 3 sub-slopes, all of which are open to both skiers and snowboarders. Thanks to the 5 high-speed lifts, there is no waiting in line, and there is even an escalator for children and beginners. The lifts are equipped with heated seats for a warm, comfortable ride. Even though this particular resort is on the smaller side, it is packed with convenient facilities at inexpensive prices. The resort is a great value for the price and gives its visitors an affordable winter sports experience without sacrificing quality.

   

  Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley

  Located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, the Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley offers a sledding hill, 6 ski lifts, and 10 slopes for various skill levels. Night skiing is very popular at Yangji Pine Resort and the well-lit slopes give visitors a nighttime ski experience that is as safe as it is thrilling. The resort also offers a mogul ski course for experts and thrill seekers as well as ski and snowboard lessons.

  
  Yongpyong Ski Resort (Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do)

  Located at a range of altitudes between 700-1,500m above sea level in what is affectionately known as the "Alps of Korea," Yongpyong Resort can accommodate more skiers at a time than any other venue in the country and has built a strong international reputation having successfully hosted the World Cup Ski Championships, the Winter Asian Games, and other international ski competitions. Widely known as a filming location of the famous drama "Winter Sonata," the ski resort is especially popular among tourists from Japan and other Asian countries. During the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, Yongpyong will host the alpine competitions.

  Muju Deogyusan Ski Resort

  Located inside Deogyusan National Park in Muju, Jeollabuk-do, the Muju Deogyusan Resort has long been a popular ski destination for both Korean and international skiers. This gorgeous mountain ski resort not only has a large number of ski courses, but also has breathtaking views that allow skiers to take in the beauty of the snow-covered slopes while they ski. The resort is divided into two main sections, the Manseon Base with 12 slopes, and Seolcheon base with 10 slopes, which includes the Silk Road Slope. For a refreshing experience, try the outdoor hot springs after a day of skiing.

  Snow Slide(Option)

  Larva Sledding Hills in large and features one adult slope (length 100m, width 50m) and a children’s slope (length 45m, width 30m). The slopes here maintain a steepness of 17 degrees which adds to the speed of the sled. In all corners of the hill are igloos and fire pots, providing the users with scenery and memories of good times. There are 2 kinds of sleds: the tube sled and the plastic sled, enabling visitors to choose between the two. The children’s slope, is not too steep and provides safety with rubber cushions attached to the sled. Figures such as Santa Claus, Rudolf, and snowmen also add to the fun.
